Another background. Yippe! It's kind of depressing to see my first, better background against my rushed, half-assed background, but at lease the quality isn't diminishing toooo much. That BG is mostly obscured by Fire's fire anyway.

Also working out some poses for the first scene I'm going to animate. In my head, it's very subtle, so I'm really working hard to make sure the poses work.

Have been too lazy to do the 3/4 so far. Will have to get onto that when my other assignments are done.

Also, project Fire Tiger vs Acid Panther is a-go. Approved!

I forgot to upload these awful 'final' designs I did a little while back. I am so glad I didn't settle for them.

I tried to attach a quote to this, but there are no words to describe the hatred Fire feels for Acid. Here is a typical death glare he shoots Acid throughout the film.

Some unfinished storyboards. Posting them here will motivate me as I draw some more. They are backwards because of blogspot.

Coloured story beat sketches. You'll notice they are less sketchy than a sketch usually is. I am covering all my bases for this assignment.

Trying to get a good cover image. It's never aggressive enough.

I liked how this turned out, though.

Doodling in class. I really like this design. At someone's suggestion I blotted out the eye, but I'm not sure I like it. It makes FT seem... blank. I know it'd contrast well, but I don't know if it's the direction I want to go in. I like how FT is still intelligent, while AP is just fucking crazy.

Anyway, hopefully I can round these two up and make some rough model sheets. At least for the assignment, if they're not final.

Back doing FT+AP next year. (And preproduction this year.) I was planning on working with someone, on a more complicated idea, but I'm just too unreliable for someone to risk working with. (Note to self - delete this when looking for a job.)

I've got Acid pretty set now. She will inevitably change, but I'd be fully comfortable animating her. Time for a ref sheet.
Except that I just realized her head is very small.

Just exploring Fire. Really need to get on his model. The assignment is due at the end of this term.

Fire Tiger ablaze with problems.

Some FireTiger concept stuff. I work on him much less than Acid.
The hard thing is making him look like he's made of fire and not ON fire.
Doesn't look like he minds, though. Look at that diligent expression.

I want him to be the opposite of Acid... Big and chunky, while Acid is small and lanky. So this design isn't really doing it for me.
